Connecting Point
If we are to successfully reach out to people with the message of Jesus Christ, it is important that we find ways to connect with them. This is the focus of OCF’s Connections Ministries.
In fact, one pastor in a thriving church stated he had learned the hard way that people do not bond or connect with the church, the denomination or even the worship services. People bond or connect with each other.
Connections Ministries provide opportunities to serve OCF’s regular attendees and visitors by providing a warm, appealing setting for fellowship, worship and instruction in God’s Word, as well as ministering to special needs.
This growing ministry includes door and auditorium greeting, ushering, assisting at the book table, and providing meals and visits to new mothers and those who are ill.
Linn Edmonson is coordinator for our Connecting Point programs.
If you attend OCF and would like to serve in one or more of these areas, please contact Linn or submit a Personal Profile card at a worship service or at the Information Center.
